Ingantt Development (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Ingantt application (the “App”) and the website at https://ingantt.com (the “Website”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the App across all supported platforms (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Web, including via the Google Workspace Marketplace).
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide

Google Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo URL from Google. On native platforms (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows), sign-in is optional and enables Google Drive file storage. On the Web version, Google Sign-In is required and is used for Google Drive file storage and subscription management. When you first use the Web version, a user record is created on our server containing your email address, name, locale, and registration date.

Subscription and Billing Information (Web only): When purchasing a subscription through the Web, we collect your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and payment-related details. This information is transmitted to WayForPay, our payment processor, for transaction processing.

Feedback: When you submit feedback through the App, we collect the text of your message. You may optionally choose to attach your currently open project file to help us diagnose issues.

AI Feature Input: When you use the “Create with AI” feature, the text prompt you provide is sent to our backend server for processing by Anthropic (Claude).

Project Files: Project files you create and edit remain under your control. Files are stored locally on your device or in your Google Drive account (in a folder called “Ingantt Schedules”). When you open a file in a non-native format (such as MPP, GAN, XER, or other supported project file formats), the file is transmitted to our server for format conversion. Files are processed in memory only and are not stored on our server.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically

App Metadata: Each request to our backend includes your app version, platform name (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, or Web), system locale, and, if signed in, your email address.

Crash and Error Reports: We use Sentry (hosted in the EU) to collect crash reports and error logs in production. This includes stack traces, error messages, app version, and platform information. We do not intentionally collect personal data through crash reports.

Web Analytics (Web only): The Web version of the App uses Google Analytics 4 to collect standard usage analytics, including page views and session data. Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser. Native mobile and desktop versions of the App do not include analytics tracking.

User Preferences: The App stores your local preferences (such as theme, display options, column widths, and recent file list) on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms. These preferences are not transmitted to our servers.
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not use your data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We do not serve advertisements and do not integrate any advertising SDKs.
- We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, camera input, or microphone input.
- We do not use device identifiers for tracking purposes.
- Android cloud backup is explicitly disabled for the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and operate the App: Process your requests, enable file storage and synchronization via Google Drive, convert file formats, and deliver AI-powered project creation.
- Process subscriptions (Web only): Process Web subscription payments, validate subscription status, and manage your account.
- Send transactional emails (Web only): Send you account-related notifications such as welcome messages, trial reminders, subscription confirmations, and cancellation notices.
- Improve stability and performance: Analyze crash reports, error data, and server-side telemetry to identify and fix bugs.
- Understand usage patterns (Web only): Use aggregated analytics data to understand how the Web app is used and to improve the user experience.
- Respond to support requests: Use feedback submissions to diagnose issues and improve the App.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use the following third-party service providers to operate the App:
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — client-side crash and error reporting, data processed in the EU
- Microsoft Application Insights (Microsoft Corporation) — server-side telemetry and error monitoring
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — web usage analytics (Web version only)
- Google APIs (Google LLC) — authentication and Google Drive file storage
- WayForPay — subscription payment processing (Web version only)
- Resend (Resend, Inc.) — transactional email delivery (Web version only)
- Anthropic (Claude) — processing AI-powered project creation prompts
- Microsoft Azure — backend hosting and data storage (East US region)
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Server-side user data (Web only): Your email address, name, locale, registration date, and subscription status are stored in Azure Table Storage on our backend server.
- OAuth tokens (Google access, refresh, and ID tokens) are stored in platform-secure storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore, macOS Keychain, or platform equivalent).
- Subscription status (Web only) is cached locally in secure storage for offline access.
- API requests to our backend are signed with HMAC-MD5 for integrity verification.
- The App operates within platform sandboxes where available (macOS App Sandbox, iOS App Sandbox).
- We use HTTPS for all network communications.
4a. Data Retention
- Server-side user records (Web only): Your user record and subscription history are retained for as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your data, contact us at support@ingantt.com.
- Project files: Files submitted for format conversion are processed in memory and are not retained.
- AI prompts: Text prompts sent for AI-powered project creation are not stored on our server.
- Feedback: Feedback messages are forwarded to our support team via email and are not stored in a database.
- Local data: Preferences, OAuth tokens, and cached subscription status remain on your device until you sign out or uninstall the App.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Sign-in is optional on native platforms: On iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows, you can use the App without signing in to Google. Signing in enables Google Drive file storage. On the Web version, Google Sign-In is required for app functionality, file storage, and subscription management.
- Google Drive access: The App uses the limited
drive.filescope, which only allows access to files created by the App or explicitly opened by you in the App — not your entire Google Drive. - Feedback attachments: Attaching your project file when submitting feedback is optional and requires your explicit consent.
- Web analytics: You can use browser-based cookie blocking or opt-out tools to limit Google Analytics data collection on the Web version.
- Transactional emails: On the Web version, you will receive account-related emails (welcome, trial reminders, subscription notifications). These are service communications necessary for managing your subscription.
- Data deletion: You can sign out of your Google account within the App at any time, which removes your stored OAuth tokens from the device. To request deletion of your user record and any associated data on our servers, contact us at support@ingantt.com.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@ingantt.com so we can take appropriate action.
7. International Data Transfers
Our backend server is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the East US region. Crash reports are processed by Sentry in the EU. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Platform-Specific Disclosures
iOS and macOS (Apple)
- The App is a paid application distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple’s privacy practices apply to the purchase transaction.
- The App requests only file access permissions that you explicitly grant through the system file picker.
Android
- The App is a paid application distributed through Google Play. Google’s privacy practices apply to the purchase transaction.
- The App requests storage read/write permissions for local file operations and internet permission for network access.
Windows
- The App is a paid application distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft’s privacy practices apply to the purchase transaction.
Web
- The Web version uses a subscription model. Subscription payments are processed through WayForPay.
- The App is also available through the Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Google Analytics cookies are set on the web.ingantt.com domain.
- Google OAuth authentication uses a temporary localStorage entry for the sign-in callback, which is immediately cleared after use.
